The downtown is abandoned, its only park is designed for cars instead of people, there are no jobs, and there's nothing to do. Burlington has a population of 42k and has a big pedestrianized downtown with tons of restaurants, bars, art galleries, etc. there are miles of bike lanes along Lake Champlain, and tons of places to hike. There are like 7 big breweries! I don't know how a town with so few people has so much going on.
