Trai isn’t a 5-time Pro Bowl caliber player, but he was still our second best OL the past two years behind Moton. Obviously we needed a LT desperately to help Cam, but I don’t love giving up a better, younger G to do it.

Turner was really at his best when the panthers were still able to use their lateral read game. He moves very well and was good at getting to the second level. With or without cam, they can’t really do that anymore. Ruhle is originally an oline guy so if you’re gonna trust him anywhere..... I don’t really get swapping him straight up for okung. Maybe playing on the east coast will cut down on his PEs?

Guards really aren’t that important and are probably the most replaceable position outside of RB and DT. Not really a knock but if you had to rate fungible positions for league average play guards are up there.

Agreed, the Packers ditched both starting guards at the end of '04, and their next year was absolute garbage on offense. It did give us the few games of Samkon Gado.
