I would also recommend Nezha since he has cc, is almost as tanky as rhino, and is real fast. You can get the parts from a dojo lab if you've joined our clan, or a clan.

Go to the goon Dojo and get Nezha blueprints, it is one of the cheaper frames to builds and one of the most fun frames in the game.

Something racist, probably.
Nezha and wukong are both really easy to get from the clan dojo, and are both very, very good, with wukong being closer to excalibur.

I still haven't been able to build any other frames to nezha's level (to be fair, I haven't tried rhino). He just doesn't take damage! Other frames... do!

He doesn't take damage, he doesn't take any status effects or knockdown, he's faster than everything else, he can throw his frisbee and teleport to it, he can throw his frisbee and make it ricochet off people and explode heath drops all over the room, he can shield party members and escorts, he can freeze all enemies in the area, he can run in circles around an objective to deny all enemies from it, he's the sexiest twink frame.

You've already got some good answers to what are good frames, but you should grind out most every frame that you come across. Frames take 3.5 days to build which is very painful at the start.

So unless it's a more extreme grind for a frame that drops from a boss (like Eclipse, say), it's worth putting in the 6-10 runs to get the parts and start building it.

If you really like a frame, look to see if it has a Prime version before investing heavily in it (Orokin Reactor, Forma). The Prime isn't strictly needed, but is usually slightly better.

Procs removing some but not all armor prevents over-stripping, which is nice for Corrosive the damage type working with Corrosive the status proc. If armor is now properly linear, this may be a nice change overall.

E: Like you don't want procs to strip all armor and then lose the +75% damage because you have Corrosive equipped. Unlike CorPro + Viral or something.

15% of the remaining 20% after stripping will be mitigated by the +75% armor avoidance from Corrosive, so this is pretty cool all around:
. 95% damage reduction effective
. remaining 5% armor is on the S curve and much lower at 100+
. +75% damage guaranteed since armor strip isn't going to happen e: unless corpro or abilities can go beyond 80% limit, unclear

Remains to be seen how it'll play, but it looks quite nice on paper especially for solo or pugs.

Eclipse and Ivara were both in the "run 3-4 a day" category for me. Though Corpus Spy with Loki is pretty chill and I ran more of those sometimes.

Atmo Systems, Khora, Harrow, Nidus are all in the same category for me, where I don't to do a full on grind for them.

I said this before, but Atmos were different for me because the run is always the same and you just get better and better and everyone running with you is too, so you had this weird world you grew into and then helped others grow

maybe nowadays there aren't that many runners?

There'd be the odd person every once in a while but it was usually solo. This was on Switch though when the game was still new to the platform, never did the Fortuna grind on PC where it may be different.

I don't understand how bad your mod configuration must be because without a single forma my kuva ogris was something like 13k damage and 100% status chance and it murders everything

Naw, it's fresh out the foundry, but I'm honestly wondering why I should waste a crapton of forma on it when I have a bunch of other more damaging weapons that cover a wider area that won't ragdoll my perfectly sculpted Tenno rear end. Like, self-damage (and soon self-stagger) are funny gimmicks, but forma is a goddamn time investment and I don't want to waste it on something simply because "lol suicide bomb."

It's %33 radiation by the way, is that good?

Protect children from "Safe Schools" social engineering. Shame!

All the changes that are up seem neat, I was kinda hoping to see some meltdowns in here about 4 x corrosive projection not removing 100% of armour anymore.

Although I know I'm a niche case, I essentially play solo and only do group stuff when cracking open relics.

the only reason people were so die hard about bringing corpro is because armor scaling is absolutely hosed and DE should have addressed it like 3+ years ago

Anyway, I just hit 30 with the Kuva Ogris and it's still pretty underwhelming and I'm not sure if I should waste forma in it.

EDIT: That was a bit too harsh.

Yeah, no. Self-damage can be funny, but it's not five forma and hours of time putting on sexy webcam performances in Simaris's Efficiency Fetish Dungeon in worth of funny. If I wanted to work that hard for a tepid half-hearted chuckle I'd continue this post.

It's also the only aura that's guaranteed to benefit the whole group since it enhances all damage types, not just melee or pistols or whatever. It will continue to be the best until we start spending a disproportionate amount of time fighting corpus or there's a full aura overhaul.

There's enough changes listed that I'm not ready to try theorycrafting, I'm just gonna wait and see what's new. The main thing I'm interested in that I didn't know about before is that they're trying to get Status to a point where it can be allowed on bosses, Liches, and Eidolons. I wasn't expecting that, and it'd be a welcome change to be able to bring more weapon types against bosses than just raw damage or crit.
