I’m fairly certain Jose only played Parrott to make the fans finally shut up about the so called wonder kid. Looks like Dier was defending his brother after all. And in fairness if I saw that meat headed bastard coming towards me I’d run. At least this might mean that all the plastics who latched on during last seasons CL run will gently caress off and we can continue having no expectations for the team whatsoever

He deserves AT LEAST as much poo poo as Ole was getting for relying on young players during our injury crisis with the way he's handled Parrott. To throw him on as the fourth sub (did he even get the full ET?) in a match that's on a knife edge AND let him take a penalty that he then missed...well I hope the kid is made of stern stuff because that'd crush plenty of young prospects. This is what's puzzling me with Spurs. Until now they've been happy to have the academy production line, mixing selling on with blooding those that make it into the first team, with the usual Levy transfer activity. They've now hired Mourinho, who it seems is stuck now in "late stage Mourinho" mode...I don't see what the plan is? Are Spurs really going to start throwing Mourinho levels of cash around this summer, with the paint still wet on that stadium and most likely no Champions League or even European football next season?
