My cat, who yells at me to turn on the bath tap (but only to a trickle) everyone I go into the bathroom, wishes he were that cat. I’m not imagining my cat as that tiger, thundering into the bathroom, leaping into the tub, then roaring at me as soon as I sit down on the toilet. Edit: gently caress. I thought I copied this one and edited it into the previous post. Sorry for the double post I was swyping while playing with a different cat. The fluffy one was who was distracting me while I was phone posting. I was not on the toilet during this post however. Bored has a new favorite as of 08:08 on Mar 7, 2020 |

She was a street orphan when she was rescued; no idea what she went through before she was taken in but she was tiny and isolated when I met her and we bonded instantly. She's still got mad issues wrt touching and being picked up; but in the 3 years I've had her I've learned her chirps and physical tells, so we have a relatively amenable relationship.

The bread of disgrace is my favorite alternative to the cone of shame. TinyKittens uses it too. WARNING the linked video shows a cat after he's had eye surgery, and the sutures on his eyes may be distressing for some people to see. They show him playing 25 seconds in so I think he's going to be fine tho

I used to have a neighbor who had one (in Georgia, US of all places. Just why?) and it famously hosed up a car that was in danger of hitting some kids playing in the street.

That hand twitch towards the brush and the look that follows. I wonder how much of this could be solved with actual training. Begging for your dog to submit while on your knees and clapping and wildly gesturing seems very much the wrong approach. I'm a glutton for mouthy huskies though.
