I don't think I've seen an episode of Rugrats since I was 7 and I could remember every scene of this. I always knew Mark Mothersbaugh did the theme song but the music throughout that whole episode was fantastic.

There is a copy on ebay for $35. The last one that sold went for $9.11

also, this is a nice big hardcover coffee table book that contains all of their front pages from the first 21 years. I enjoy flipping through it, and it's only 6 bucks:

It is still funny. Though certainly the format is so ubiquitous that it cannot nearly so easily shock or surprise anymore.

Plus if you go back too far it is exclusively jokes about obscure cities in Wisconsin having things happen to them. Which, to be fair, was still hilarious, but not in the same way.

Those are just so weird. Like you have super-crowded subdivisions right next to them, then, bam, totally undeveloped except for paved roads.

After seeing what they look like on street view, I'm imagining the Google street view driver going up and down every one of those streets, banging in frustration on the steering wheel "Why? WHY?! Why am I even doing ---- OOO! A house!"

There was this cartoon i saw as a kid that i could not find despite my hours of google searching. It aired in the afternoon, early 90's, and it featured a baby dolphin/whale crying as it's mom was being captured by octopi or squid, hauled onto their whaling trawler. The octopi/squid even had whaler uniforms of sorts, more akin to striped beanies/skullcaps i think. And then my dad changed the channel on me, like a dick. I protested, and he looked me in the eye and said no. I was so heartbroken about that baby dolphin! What happened to its mom!?

I've even tried going through the list of cartoons featuring dolphins on wikipedia, and that proved difficult as well. Was it a french cartoon? American? It was a good looking cartoon, something akin to anime, tiny toons, or disney afternoon styles... Has anyone else sen this piece of animation?

That dolphin still haunts me.

It ended up being from a terribly lovely episode of Tiny Toons. Even the animation wasn't that good.

Good news. This was the old link he provided to download it - http://edge.virbcdn.com/_f/files/cc/FileItem-81242-parade.zip - which I'm sure you found but it currently 404s. But change to match how the hosting website is currently organised, and...

Edit: fixed the new link, should actually work now

From the readme in that zip file:

Back in the 90s DJ Venom released an album called Venom's Birthday Bash. Yes it was cheesy and dumb but I have a nostalgia for it. It contained techno remixes of theme songs along with other mixes. There was a song on there called "Suck My Motherfuckin Dick" and a remix of the Inspector Gadget theme song. Can't find it anywhere for download or purchase, and can't find it on Soulseek. Anyone know what I'm talking about and can help me find this album? It was ridiculous.

This one nags me every once in awhile:

There was a pop 80’s music compilation which had a commercial that ran A LOT back in the late 90’s. The name of the compilation is not important but what is important to me is that during the commercial there was this PERFECT transition from this one song into “Tainted Love”. For the life of me I can’t think of what that song could be and it occasionally bugs the poo poo out of me.
