So I'm guessing that lowers his cap hit this year down by around 10 mil ish. Time to invest heavily in the oline.... As I've been wanting for years now. Cousins is a QB where if everything is going right he is drat good. But as soon as things start to breakdown he falls apart. He doesnt deal with pressure well and he wont throw into tight coverage (even though MIN has 2 of the best contested catch receivers in the NFL) The Vikings ceiling at this point is Playoff win in the wildcard, then get bodied in the next rounds.

All QBs are good when unpressured but Cousins is even better than most. All QBs except Russell Wilson are bad when pressured but Cousins is mind bogglingly Ryan Leaf level bad when you put any pressure on him at all. The catch-22 is that it’s hard to pay for a good o-line when you’re paying your QB $30M+ a year
