Wow, sucks for you, there's two shops in my village and as of yesterday they both still had soap and shower gel and even loo roll.

Smugness aside, try smaller shops, local corner shop or Spar or Scot Mid type stores. Also check your local pharmacy for soap.

You need 60% minimum. Wray & Nephew Overproof Rum might work at a pinch. Or methylated spirits (don't do the drinking part with this).

Welp I did my weekly shop, I couldn't get eggs or digestive biscuits, and I had to get tablets rather than powder for the laundry, and I'm glad I bought loo rolls a week early last week, but otherwise I'm OK. I do most of my shopping for fresh stuff which was mostly at about the same stock level as a normal monday afternoon, i.e. pretty poo poo.

loving place looked like it'd been looted though.

I've been feeling a little tight chested and coughy, but I put that down to allergies, I'm not actually feeling ill at all, and it's normal for this time of year for me, but I might see if work thinks I ought to stay off tomorrow. Could be I've got it anyway, and this is just the incubation period, who the gently caress even knows any more.

Had a couple of stressed conversations with people at work, including the one where someone said 'but we couldn't afford' and I immediately challenged it, because we obviously loving CAN afford it.

Trip into London is postponed til next month though, thank gently caress.

We've also been given guidance for how to do our jobs out in the field (office staff can work from home) and it boils down to: ring ahead, and ask what Covid-19 measures they're enforcing, and follow them; and ask if anyone has had it on the premises. If the answer to the latter is yes, email corporate for advice

situation for the last week and a bit. I can 100% categorically say that my minor shortness of breath and congestion get worse when I read about the virus either on here or other social media, and mysteriously disappear when I'm (trying to) work or chilling playing videogames or watching movies. So yes, could be I've had a super mild case but there's definitely a whole bunch of psychosomatic stuff going on too.

It's a bit of a piss take now though because I don't 100% if I've had it or not so even after isolating for 14 days I'm still not going to want to leave the house where I can avoid it, so I guess it's solitary for me for the next month or two at least.
