Vermont does not have online filing for unemployment benefits, the offices are closed, and the phone lines are down. I still haven't seen a single announcement from a state or municipality that closed restaurants telling workers what to do.

My gf works for HR consulting company, and they are doing a company wide conference call right now about the roni. A lady is going over new products they can pitch to clients in the crisis, and one of them is basically "hey if you need to fire half your workforce we can give advice on how to do that".

Anybody know good sources for public datasets on this? Currently, I'm looking at the John Hopkins dataset, but they've had a lot of issues lately and seem to be at least a couple of days out of date. There's a few others that are trying to pull from the John Hopkins data and update it with data they've scraped from various government sites but there are some issues with those sources as well (like number going down).
