My entire job has been consumed by COVID. Without going into a lot of detail, I�ve been trying to help people evacuate back to the US from numerous countries- most of which have seen single digit or zero COVID cases- before the hammer falls. Over the past few days, I�ve dealt with someone who can evacuate but their family can�t, another person whose family was turned away due to internal airline policies, and others in similar or worse positions.

I think a lot of people believe that we�re at the middle of this thing, but really it�s just the beginning. Once people realize this, I think the panic rat will really be turned loose.

Better treatments along the way to a vaccine. There are some existing medications that may help that wouldn�t need the same amount of testing. Ramping up the production of medical supplies will also help.

Also I imagine the vaccine will be opened up to various groups of people long before we completely determine that it doesn�t make you poo poo out your eyeballs.

South Korea is the example. Expand testing drastically; quarantine those infected. It would allow social distancing measures to be reduced or eliminated if we have comprehensive test system.
