The Super-League is about making a fake baseball team. Also, failure. It is mainly about failure. There are going to be somewhere between 40 and 50 teams competing in the two divisions of the Super-League. Exactly one of them is going to be the Super-League Champion of Super-League XXIX. Even all things being equal, your team would have something like a 2.5% chance of winning. But that assumes that you can, at the outset, create an outstanding team that is, from day one, capable of holding its own against the established powers of the Super-League, and that is unlikely to the extreme. In fact, odds are, your new team is going to die after a single season, culled to make room for new teams, with brighter fortunes. The Super-League is not a game for instant gratification. It is a game of frustration, perseverance, cunning, and, ultimately, deep-seated hatred of your fellow human beings. There, now don't say I didn't give you fair warning. So, pick teams, do your best, and, if you want or need more advice or guidance, go to the Super-League Discord. GO THERE NOW! New Team Form Fill out Now This needs to be done to secure a spot in the Super-League Teams Selected: Pick eleven points worth of teams (twelve points for people who have never owned a Super-League team before), spread out over as many teams as you'd like. Folks who may be creating a team for the first time in a bit, or ever, don't forget to check out Super-League.tk! It's baseball-reference, for Super League! Just don't trust too many performances that occurred before roughly season 10, it was a different game back then.

If no one minds, I'll throw the Tony Gywnn selection back into the pool... I left myself with very poor pitching possibilities and need to re-balance this thing (keeping my childhood Tribe does not put me at a good advantage to have pitching but I'll die on MY terms drat it) Preferred teams, though I will honor any decision to drat me to my hasty original selection: 2011 Dodgers 1907 Cubs (and 1995 Indians and 1975 Red Sox as originally claimed) Faustoan Bargain fucked around with this message at 17:56 on Mar 18, 2020 |

I'm back, I think. Building my first truly new team since the goddamn Pirates back however many years ago. My first time without Buck Leonard since like 2013. Teams: '34 Tigers (3) '01 Orphans (2) '22 Cubs (2) '90 Pirates (2) Going min-max as hell on the rotation, but I have something resembling a real bullpen from the start. That lineup is gonna be yikes, though. Edit: had the year on the tigers team wrong Edit 2: Llama pointed out the original configuration was only 10 points. Now with the full 11! Here we are, with Saudi Steamrollers v1.5: The theme behind this revision was, quite simply turning Walter Johnson and so much trash into Frankie Frisch!
