It's true it does start very slow. I know that Animal Crossing is a super casual move at your own pace game but a week-long tutorial is a lot, even for AC.

What counts as the high portion of the river, the point where you can catch Stringfish? Is it anything above normal ground level or just the river source on the very uppermost set of cliffs (when you have to go up a ladder twice)?

Yeah I'm gonna lose 25% investment on my turnips because I was greedy. Oh well, I'll let some rot and get ants for the museum. Edit: whomever recommended the SwitchPro Grip thanks, mine just came today and this is the first time I've been able to use my Switch in handheld without getting cramps in my big mitts.
