Need 3 more volunteers for this experiment! I have the setup and role PMs written, but I'm waiting until I have enough people for everyone to get their own coach (scum team would get one coach to share). Plan is to post it in GBS but as always if anyone really wants to see how a subforum reacts to a mafia thread feel free to suggest one.

e: In case people are nervous about the idea of coaching, what I expect coaches to do is basically keep up with the game and answer questions a new player might have. Stuff like "is that a scum slip?" or "who would be a good target for my night action?" Basically you would function as an observer who can interact with your chosen player. You wouldn't know anyone else's role and alignment except your chosen player, so there wouldn't be any pressure for you to not reveal privileged information. You could even teach them the sacred art of lurking and not giving a poo poo if you really wanted to, we all know there have to be at least two players that do that in every game.
