How well are you guys hanging in there? Day 13 of Quarantine: hanging out in self-imposed quarantine with dad (age 60, no lung problems) in a calm suburbia in Southern Maine; both of us work from home. Washing hands after each mail/trash pickup, and every last outing. Dad gets groceries locally once a week, Gorham is lovely with hordes of senior citizens packed in like sardines. Windham up north however is fully stocked minus TP. We take nature walks every now and then. Cleaned up yard for spring today. Every now and then we have congestion and fatigue, but no high fevers. I doubt we have covid but we haven't tested yet. Mom has already recovered from covid (or just pneumonia) two weeks ago after a trip to California in mid-Feburary. Couldn't get tested when the first case popped up. And how do you think I'm doing?

Decided to reread The White Plague by Frank Herbert. It's one of his lesser known books but I always found it fascinating. It's clearly very dated, but an interesting read. Enjoying it very much, but I guess it's topic would freak out a lot of people due to current events. I mostly picked it because I'm looking forward to Dune, but have already read the sequence 4 times.
