Surely it's not very socialist to go around beating people up with your fists. Because industrialization is a necessary step on the road to socialism, therefore you have to use like, a digger that you stole from work.

But if he can't put on a tie how can he lead the country? Maybe we won't have to wait 5 years for an election. Who's after Starmer?

If BoJo dies his child will grow up without a father, for a short time. My workplace has decided that everyone has to wear masks, that they provide and stay 2m away from each other while working. Except the masks they provide are bog standard dust masks and it's impossible for us to do parts of our job without being a few inches from each other. So it's going well.

Do any "routine tests" normally require an overnight stay (and being moved late on a Sunday night)? I'd have thought - even with the kind of definitely-not-NHS hospital he'd be going to - that they'd not want him to actually spend any more time than he needed to in hospital, especially with the PR angle, so unless someone can tell me that there is actually a legit reason to do this that we're definitely not getting the whole story.

Yes, actually. If they want to test a head of state really thoroughly, it's reasonable to repeat the tests after a night. In that case, staying overnight is certainly better than taking the trip twice. Of course we have no idea, if this is what's happening here.

He’ll absolutely be in an NHS hospital, private gaffs can’t handle critical or rapidly deteriorating patients, if you were to go to one with Covid you would be toast.

Aye, you don't just get brought into hospital 'for tests' and you don't really want to be in a hospital now unless it's urgent.

I don't want Boris to die. He'll become a rockstar PM whose greatest hits were seeing the biggest Labour defeat in generations, getting the brexit bill through, and then starting the lockdown. I want him to live to become washed up, not in our eyes (he already is here) but more widely.
