Thwart is definitely a combat trick to be aware of, if your opponent swings their board into even or bad trades with 3 open. e: Also, Fluctuator + Astral Slide could be a deck.

It's worse as a fair card but the fact that you get your thing back immediately rather than at end of turn means its more exploitable for one-turn nonsense.

I am going to figure out a way to take this and Thassa and make people miserable with Agent of Treachery. Speaking of, I'm finding the "challenge" to the arena cube, such as it is having such an embarrassment of riches that you avoid the temptation to go 4/5 colour goodstuff and figure out which bombs are bombiest. Blue feels incredibly powerful: In a battle of bombs, control magic effects are pretty nuts. I had a guy who thought he was going to just brutalize me with Helm of the Host on Hypnotic Specter till I Agented away the Helm and put it on Agent.

It is, but it doesn't seem super worth it if the only cards you're reducing are Ambusher and Brazen Borrower. Maybe you could do a more creature heavy build.
