He just threw a wrench at the guy at the start of the video. Was he trying to put the fire out with a wrench?

the problem with breaking fire is it starts clipping over all the local geometry and slows the flamerate to a crawl.

I'm the guy running in with a 3/4 finished plastic water bottle. I wouldn't be surprised if that bucket had some kind of powder-y substance and the other guy thought "Aha, smother the fire with sand!" except it was really fine powder and pouring it out really quickly created a dust cloud.

It's the same part of your brain that tells you to put both hands on the wheel when you get up above 85mph when you're driving.

Reminds me of The Avengers movie, where the guy has this big cylinder of iridium and he's just holding it in one hand like it's no big deal, when it should weigh about 40lbs.

Nah, it was doc Selvig and he was tossing it hand to hand like it weighed about 3lbs. I'm a bit of a chemistry nerd so when they mentioned that it was pure iridium and he's basically juggling it, I had to laugh.

An over the top fantasy superhero movie with a Norse god who summons lighting and a guy who hulks out 10 times his normal size - and they aren't even the weirdest ones - but the detail where they toss around a 40 pound block struck you as odd? Or did you really just badly want to share with us that you know how dense Iridium is?
