That show was about a royal family doing nothing to fight the massive inequality in their homeland, with the sole exception of a black sheep who promises to help the poor by ousting his relatives. The royals are the good guys and the black sheep is the villain. At least in the first episode, there's no concrete evidence that the black sheep is trying to manipulate his followers for his own gain, or that the royals have an incremental plan to help their subjects. It just expects you to like the royals and hate the black sheep because ... the king is sad about his parents' death? The royals have a giant pet bulldog? I dunno.

I remember that the Homestar Runner fan community picked as their unofficial forum a port of a game so esoteric that, when someone actually tried to look up the game itself, they could find no actual evidence that this port even existed outside of it having a GameFAQs forum in the first place. This gave rise to a theory that the port was entirely fabricated just so that an admin could give Homestar Runner a fan forum without actually officially making one.
