Near the beginning of the series, Eve meets a new group through Kenny and they end up being her people. The group offers the vehicle, the means and the technology by which she’s able to continue doing her job, searching for The Twelve and Villanelle. The guy who played Kenny had this to say about it, in a now deleted article that was cached (Minor Killing Eve spoilers) "Where is Kenny at the start of this series? This series, unlike the second one, starts off six months afterwards and the damage has set in. The consequences of what’s happened have really taken hold and it’s about what decisions people make six months down the line. Six months later, Kenny has left MI6 and is working for an online journalism company called The Bitter Pill that is investigating wrongdoings that are going around the world. We meet Kenny at a point where he has come into his own a bit. He’s more of an individual and making decisions for himself. Moralistically, he’s taken everything he was working on in MI6 into his own hands and circumstances. He reaches out to Eve to let her know that this is a way forward to continue their work but without the corruption. What is The Bitter Pill all about, and how has Kenny become involved with them? The closest thing I can compare it to is an underground version of what Vice would have started off with. It’s people who are investigating the things that no one else is investigating. It’s just for the sake that people need to know about it. It’s fairly dangerous but it’s full of moralistic people doing it for the greater good. With Kenny’s set of skills, and especially after what happened in the first two series, there are two choices to make. You either give up what you’ve been doing and let go of everything that has happened and all the danger you’ve been stuck in for the last however long, or you take those skills and apply them to the stuff that you want to investigate. That’s The Twelve for Kenny. He is given a platform and the technology to investigate this for a company whose morals are in the right place. That’s the path that Kenny has taken and I think it’s a good one." The boss of Bitter Pill is played by Danny Sapani. Hopefully the first episode doesn't end with him being slowly tortured to death by Russians.

He is listed as writing, directing, recording and editing in the credits. It looks like he could have done it all on the camera you see in the mirror sketch. The voice even has a slight echo sometimes like it's in a slightly boomy room.

There was even a sort of kickstarter for it! Although it didn't end up happening because it didn't need to.

If you have been ignoring HIGNFY because it's poo poo (which it is) I'd strongly recommend watching the new series, particularly the extended versions. It's not funny but it IS compelling viewing.

I used a voucher to get a couple of months of NowTV Cinema as there happened to be a bunch of movies I wanted to watch. When it was coming to an end, I went to cancel and it offered it to me at £2.40 a month for three months. Good enough value for me to go for it. I've just gone to cancel and it's extended the offer for another three months. The usual price is £11.99pcm and you can also buy two-month-for-£15 vouchers. I wonder how much they rake in by people just forgetting to attempt to cancel and going with the £12 rollover cost.

They'd be hosed without it. I'm going to give NowTV a go for Sky Sports if/when sport ever comes back, but am a little concerned that it seems to load every live channel which would be a pain if you're flicking around. Can anyone confirm/deny this? Think it would be around the same price as sports with my lovely cable provider with a better interface. I can't get Sky in my apartment block, unfortunately.

Careful, my parents switched from it back to SKY because the service did not handle the rough weather of the winter. YMMV though, give it a go if you feel like it.

It may have had something to do with both them living on the coast and the internet lines not up to date and also above ground. But SKY had no issues when they switched from it. Maybe it was the Firestick?

I have a rock solid 100mb internet connection but NowTV just isn't as reliable as Netflix, Amazon Prime or Youtube and drops down to a lower resolution blockiness much more frequency. They were almost certainly seeing losses in quality (at random intervals due to network congestion at who-knows-where) and were probably using confirmation-bias to assign blame to the weather/passing vehicles/Jerry next door wearing blue socks/astrological alignment/gay frogs/Socialists/immigrants/The EU/other.
