Good episode, Phase II is a good concept and mindset to have. I don’t think anyone there is really grasping what the scale and magnitude of this economic crisis is though. 30-32% U3 unemployment is 60-80 million people idle, and in less than a year. I don’t see how our current political and economic frameworks survive that, all on its own.

I'm confused about the point Liz was trying to make about Biden being the "most progressive president but nothing will structurally change." The climate thing is something libs in the primary thread bring up as the reason you must vote for him, but I'm not sure what Liz means. I don't see the guy even paying lip service to progressive values most of the time.

I think Liz's main point was that he would indeed have a state of the union or whatever where he says 'climate change is our greatest crisis as a nation and we must do all we can to fight against it' but then won't DO anything, which I agree with but yea it does get weakened with him not even bothering to pay the lipservice half the time.
