The style of that laptop is heavily inspired by surface book (especially given that the previous ones in the series look completely different) so it looks like they took a couple cues even in the wrong places. That said it's pretty great value and one of the best ones around right now.

Dual-channel gains in memory bandwith in-practice are fairly negligible iirc, like 10%? That performance difference might be more significant on infinity fabric stuff tho.
