I'm on day three of playing this and this is only my second AC game (the first was Pocket Camp). I'm having to get used to a lot of weird things like how trees don't grow in certain spots (I planted one right by my house and wasn't sure why it wasn't growing until I looked it up), also only being able to visit other people's islands while they're actively online seems like a huge step backwards from Pocket Camp where you could visit other people's camps at any time. I started out with Agnes and Tad which aren't my first choices for villagers but they're both pretty cool. I just have to keep an eye out for Kid Cat who's the one I really want to get.

Today on Windchime: Marshal is crafting gold armor shoes. It's Piper's birthday! She's my husband's favorite, come help her have a great day (and get Nook Miles credit while you're at it)EDIT: Marshal is by the east most bridge and Piper is just south of the heart lake with balloons in front of her house. Nooks have a plasma ball and a homework set. Ables have a variety of sweaters and also other things I don't remember. Turnip price is trash. I opened up New Leaf for the first time today since 2015.... man, really seems dated looking back at it. All the QOL stuff in New Horizons makes it feel like a huge improvement in every way. Anway... how can I hook up with the people doing the item exchanges where you pick up and drop items from other people so you can order them? That's a thing, right?
