And by fun I mean depressing as hell, but somehow doing wonders for my mentality. I described my fascination with it to my line of psychiatrists the past few months, like when the asylums were emptied in France during WWII. Crazies came out of their pens and took the war like it was a sunday afternoon. (Not making GBS threads on Atlanta for any particular reason other than their governor. Their highways are garbage though.)

SARS also had people being contagious right as they presented with symptoms, so it was easier to isolate the infected and contact trace when possible. My work has announced that we’re working from home through at least the end of May. I suspect that it’ll likely be mid-June before we go back to the office. I anticipate a weird, tense summer before the second wave of COVID hits in conjunction with flu season in the fall/winter. All told, I think 2020 is going to be a complete write-off of a year.
