Yeah, in general most people seem to be at the 'everything was hosed, we're just gonna blame the Elders for it stage' and kind of sweeping it mostly under the rug. Even Bradford is grudgingly onboard with having aliens join XCOM and mostly just moving on. Which is where all the dissident groups causing trouble come from! 2/3 of the main groups of bad guys are Aliens and Hybrids who don't want to assimilate and the last is a group of human psychic supremacists.

Playing Enemy Within while I wait for the unlock. Fuckin' weird not having the fatigue system, I'm too used to it now. No reason to not field the dream team until I buy the OTS Will Up purchase, and the amount of things your units can do early on feels bizarrely low. Shoot, or maybe throw a grenade, or overwatch, and that's about it.
