All of the suits look great (except Raimi), they've been very lovingly modelled but I just don't like the designs of the vast majority of them. They're all kinda the same thing for the most part, the shiny ones in particular.

I will admit to spending time as both 2099 and Scarlet Spider though as those were both around the time when I was reading Spider-Man comics.

You are absolutely right about the Raimi suit though and I can't believe anyone wanted that or that they even bothered to put it in the game.

One thing they hopefully improve upon in the sequel is having clothing that isn't tight against the body and can move independently. Other than one little strip of bandana on the Cyborg Spider-Man costume they weren't able to do stuff like the 2099 tattered web cape or the long Noir trench coat.

That game is going to be the death of their studio, and all because of too much crunch. Maybe instead of firing Hennig and doubling down on lovely practices they should've listened to their loving staff. What a loving disaster.

I enjoyed Infinite Warfare because it's removed enough from contemporary situations to feel less gross and it basically nails the style/tone of Battlestar Galactica: The Game. The first time you go to warp owned.

Also realizing at the end that basically the entire campaign takes place in real time in one day lol

Same. By all means games people should tell every story they want to tell without compromises but as i get older i really dont want to play torture porn games. the metro dudes strike a good balance imo, i tried to play some new tomb raider game and it was misery non stop.

Hopefully CDPR doesnt fall for the SUBVERTED EXPECTATIONS and the every sucks then you die type of storytelling.

The weirdest thing about that Druckmann quote wasn't that TLOU2 would be about hatred, but that he apparently thought the dominant theme of the first game was love.

I agree. I don't find 1-3 to be actual good as games because the combat is terrible, but I enjoyed them on the easiest of easy modes because they are beautiful games, and I am impressed by the set pieces and what I assume are very clever technical tricks going on behind the scenes.

I beat 4 recently, and it was the only one where I found the combat respectable enough that I could play the game on normal difficulty. It does still need some kind of actual "gameplay" though.

I never played either online much. TLOU was just too gross for me with the curb stomping poo poo and UC4 wasn't much good generally.
