Maybe a next generation sequel where the original characters exist and can have bit parts but aren't the main focus. So when he had turned around and was trying to crawl out he ran into it, and it decided 'haha oh you wanted to leave? lol Nope," and it turned around, stuck its butt out and trapped him in place. The guy spent about five minutes freaking out and hyperventilating as he yelled and prodded at the wombats butt before it got bored and shuffled out.
