it's more about what it does than what it thinks. and what it thinks can't be abstracted from material conditions. like the 1930s nazis' creation of a mongrelized judeo-bolshevik slavic horde to the east was functional for their imperialist, settler-colonialist goals and giving their supporters an Other to unite against. some real dead-enders can believe in that today but it's not functional, whereas the threat to "german culture" posed by immigrants and asylum seekers, feminists and social-justice warriors is something to work with.

The difference between acceptably used sheets and clean ones is very tactile, and if they go too long they don't seem to absorb or retain heat as well, something fixed by a fresh wash. So like once a week in the summer, a little longer between in the winter when I'm sweating less, but ultimately it comes down to whether I feel good when getting into bed or not

Of course that raises the question of whether they actually had any support to bring in at all, how they were actually going to take over an entire airport with 60 people, and why wouldn't Maduro just shoot down those planes before they even got close to landing.
