It's also really weird watching the BA chefs act in such a scripted way. Most of the charm of their content is that the chefs just act as they would normally without pressure to do things in a certain way.

I made their Best Bolognese yesterday. I don’t have a reference for bolognese, but the result was delicious and it was dead simple to make.

This case of an intraperitoneal zucchini is unusual, and does raise questions as to how hard one has to push a blunt vegetable to perforate the rectum.

Hell yeah. The magazine is good too. In fact I only recently found out they have a great youtube channel but I've been using their resources for as long as I've been cooking competently.

I make their stuff relatively often, most recently the chickpea pasta featured in an Andy video. It's really good!

Admittedly I stick to the more basic stuff because the fancy recipes can get really dishes-heavy.

Me and my brother have made a ton from their videos. I think the first video I saw was the fermented garlic honey stuff years ago, and have been following since.

I did their pancakes this morning after Solha mentioned them.

I've used some of their ice cream base recipes as well.

I watch the videos to be entertained and I pick up a few pointers about general cooking along the way. I kind of wonder how making cooking videos in their own kitchens experience is going to influence them in the future now that they have to wash their own dishes.

A lot of times recipes want me to use a shitload of pans I just don't. It's hard to come up with specific examples but once you know what you're doing when it comes to cooking you know what kind of shortcuts you can get away with.
