I think you are all missing something. Thermonuclear and fusion bombs don't work well but fission bombs are a constant cutting motion and are thus royal WMDs.

"Alice" may be Zoss, correctly or incorrectly, calling attention to Yis, the Goddess of Substance, and drawing it away from Un, the God of Absence. This is probably a mix of Yis being more attuned to humanity, Zoss's desire that Allison be a creator more than a destroyer, and Zoss being a dumb-dumb who can blow up gods but can't learn names. The King of Kings and Master of the Universe said "UNIONIZE!"
