We need more women in STEM, and by that, I mean skateboarding, television, esports, and magic.
OK, I realize people are gonna meme on Jordan about this alternate storyline to "Gary Payton just knocked him around," but as someone who lost his mom a couple of years ago, holidays like today are incredibly painful (at least when it's this soon) and you can dread them and have them knock you off-balance for days in advance

Yeah, it’s from the 2000s so I’m assuming Massive Attack just didn’t sign off on them using their version

i no this isnt new ground but the meta aspect of thinking about how Jordan justifies his behaviour to himself is interesting. the idea that verbally abusing or fighting a teammate is what is going to get them to rebound harder against the Knicks in absurd but he fully sees the end result as a justification for all his actions

Roth’s recaps are good if you aren’t reading them

quote:

Over the series’ long sweep it has become tough to shake the suspicion that the reason The Last Dance hasn’t shown much about Jordan that wasn’t already known is because there isn’t much new to know—that whatever Jordan is hiding is also hidden from him, and that the all-consuming pursuits that defined his career really did consume everything.
