I dunno what it's like where you are but I've had to go to the hardware store twice since mid March and both times I just went when they opened at six AM and it was almost empty, and practically everyone who was there had a mask on. I'd only go on a weekend or after work if my house was about to fall down but first thing in the morning before anybody shows up it was fine. Even was able to get some toilet paper and bleach wipes in addition to what I was there for.

If you need a wrench you should have a general idea of what kind of wrench and order or request it without having to go in a store and rub your face on every wrench first. Like half of our society believes shopping is entertainment, they love wandering up and down aisles browsing to see new items they've never heard of, and love unorganized places like tj Maxx or thrift stores where they handle everything

I don't fault the random grocery store worker who is obviously just grabbing whatever produce is at the top of the pile, but I'd like to be back to normal so I can pick it out myself.

Almost all of them have guaranteed money in their contracts, even the newer players, and it should be more than enough to survive through the pandemic comfortably, so why would they play? I mean seriously, the players union should just laugh the owners out of the park.

I understand that but the guaranteed money part means that the money comes at them whether they are playing or not. So playing doesn't actually make them any more money. And they certainly won't be getting bonuses based on metrics with half an 82 game season, so again there is basically no reason for a professional athlete to play right now, at least not in baseball.

Just go grocery shopping yourself, dumbasses. Every time you use a store pick up app, you're just forcing some poor undermployed person to spend hours doing it for you, increasing their chances of getting sick, and increasing the profits of some venture capitalists

The nursing homes in Pennsylvania are possibly the most evil institution in this godforsaken country so I'm not surprised. Under PA law they can force children to pay their dead parent's nursing home debts without their agreement or consent. And then they can throw you in prison if you don't pay the court costs. Cool state!
