If they just sold the matches straight, the same women who are pissed about it would have promoted the PPVs. People have been giving DJ Hyde a pass about this poo poo for YEARS. And its a real shame too because WSU has real long legacy. I had to look this stuff up because Bix and I couldn't figure if WEW(my current weird obsession) was part of this mess. It started as a bet between Sean McCaffrey and Jac Sabboth. WSU had bee a men's promotion Jac owned and was repurposed because Sean saw potential in women's only shows. Sean and Jac's relationship is rather contentious. Sean owned DOI and had sold it to Jac but I think regained control due to nonpayment. Jac Sabboth owns ICW New York(I think he's an important name to the east coast history). Sean's body would eventually try to kill him so he had to sell. Drew Cordeiro of Beyond Wrestling fame would own it for a bit and finally deej went lookin for a beej(that means DJ Hyde bought it). Since then, its pretty been relegated to CZW's preshow. Its never been a real heavy drawing show but the tape library has immense historical value. Their J Cup shows are all worth collecting(I think Smart Mark has them). I'm lookat the cagematch entries for the cards now and they're all stacked as poo poo. holy poo poo: Five On One Handicap Gullivers Travels Match Giant Silva vs. Boris Naboka, Fuego Calderon, Helter Skelter, JD Smoothie & The Soul Assassin (w/Comrade Chow) from the 3rd J Cup. Yes THAT Giant Silva.
