I have it set up for the airplanes that need a lot of ground crew help to start, yeah. That way I can make the radio calls myself instead of clicking through the menu. I wish there was a way to turn off the pilot voice when doing that, though, for ~my immersion~

Steam Same for DCS is in full swing. If you are starting out, Flaming Cliffs 3 is likely your first choice, and Persian Gulf map your second for goon compatibility. As per tradition, if there is a goon who has been itching to get into DCS, but is financially limited (mainly due to geographic limitations), I will buy them Flaming Cliffs 3 Package (F-15, MiG-29, Su-27, Su-25T, Su-33) from Steam. After getting distracted with Il-2, and that developing crash to desktop issues, I fired up DCS, fat fingered into F-18 in-flight start, landed but couldn't find the brakes and crashed off the end of the runway. Then loaded up Case I, came in a bit high and on my go-around it crashed to desktop. This is really discouraging.

That posted Mudpsike guide is really good for the Eagle, and popping into discord isa good way to ask more questions. As people said above me, F-15 is definitely good enough for goon games, it’s almost always included. (But so is Persian Gulf) which adds another layer.
