If you want people to be less fat, give them more money to eat better and time to exercise.

If you'd just read the replies you'd understand that cases are only going up because they're doing more testing and this is a gross misrepresentation of what's happening.

every time they say someone was reinfected there's some caveat

unless your immune system is all busted you can't get reinfected with the same thing. unless it mutated.

Everyone keeps posting these and its always the same reaction "Oh no we are all doomed"

Ive never seen one of these re-infections actually be lethal and its entirely possible the body is suppressing it and its just testing positive but effectively its like you dont have it.

This is what I’m wondering, ok so they got it again, how are their symptoms this time? does it become weaker? stronger? the same? Do they recover faster? etc.

I had it in March through mid April and it was the sickest I’ve ever been (turned into double pneumonia)

All my symptoms are gone now and thankfully I didn’t have scarring or anything like that but I’m scared of catching it again and I would really like more info.

You're picturing it and you're talking about it. That's a win in my book.
the reporting on reinfection is massively irresponsible and ignores all manner of false positives and negatives in the testing and the fact that you can test positive->negative->positive with the same case of the virus very easily because the tests suck

The ifr seems pretty consistent everywhere tho? Like if your CFR is high it's bc you're not testing, a lot of the "comorbidities" stuff seems to be grasping at straws bc ur not actually seeing them among the dead at anything but the population prevalence for those age ranges
