In my town the far left party, anti-racists and anarchists show up for every protest against marginalization, including, of course protests on feminist issues (abortion rights etc). Unfortunately, when it comes time to protest against racism or counter-protest chuds the liberal and libertarian parties usually stay at home, as do women's advocacy and feminist groups. That's not to say there's no radical feminists or women in the leftist groups though; there's plenty and they're usually the ones organizing the protest. Still, I don't get how libs are the ones considered intersectional; it does not reflect reality over here.

Against it, there were even some places that considered basic matters of identity to be bourgeois sentiments. Excluding minorities and driving them off from class politics, the only ideology that offered compatibility in a general manner was liberalism - liberals at least offered a public discourse of recognition and defense of rights, even though they wouldn't put their asses on the line for that. But, if you are going to embrace the devil, there is a price to pay. (A great example of that is how Stonewall has been turned into this great moment of historical struggle through a liberal lens and all social context and structure was discarded in favor of a heroic resistance narrative that, somehow, was not revolutionary in any form)
