We Are All Gonna Die: GOOD NORMAL THINKING PUBLIC! Anyways at work we used to say "stay safe" sometimes anyway and now we use it more and sincerely mean it. The rail control center has to read a few paragraphs about safe train operation etc every hour over the radio and there's one dude who adds stuff like "stay safe out there, remember that your health matters more than anything else" and it's kinda sweet. Normally I'd be like yeah gently caress you buddy easy for you to say sitting in the office while we're out here with the public but uhh there's been a lot of outbreaks in the control towers and they don't really have an option to space themselves out in most cases.

The county I work in, in East TN of course, had an outbreak at a mushroom plant, Monterrey Mushroom. Out of a little under 300 employees, 59 have tested positive, most being asymptomatic. The response from the county mayor? Keep it running, and its ok to eat the mushrooms still as long as you wash your hands after handling them. Let that sink in there. We're all gonna die.

Only a few countries are on the list, but USA is great enough to be included! https://www.southafricavisa.com/travel-restrictions/ China South Korea Iran Italy Spain Germany The United Kingdom The United States Not sure why Germany's on that list, and didn't know Spain was a hot spot. But yeah the rest, sounds about right.

The "FOR A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME WHILE NOT SPEAKING" part got lost in the fray of pushing the six-feet-apart thing. Yes, standing six feet apart for a couple minutes at most while not opening your mouth or breathing too hard through your nose will probably maybe stop you from catching coronavirus from a carrier. Should you do it? Still no. Don't stand anywhere near another human being for more than a few seconds the forseeable future.
