This is getting a bit offtopic but theres a ton of contention and self loathing and doubt in the biracial american community over this kind of thing and where you really belong, but I wouldn't call some humor based on these situations of our very different skin tones immediately racial essentialism. Its a bit complex issue especially growing up right now.

It's also easy for us regulars to only comment on the mods when they're doing something we don't like and then not say anything when they do good poo poo, which they frequently do.
