its just games today. i'm thinking nothing insane outside of what we have heard of already. probably new batman game. would not be surprised if a tease for FFVII-2 and a "16 is currently in development" Maybe something about backwars compat- that more ps4 games will be available than previously thought, or ps3 games on psnow are better or something. maybe something about a ps+ ultimate with psnow.

Most third party games will be cross gen and cross plat for the first year, and won't have been developed to take advantage of the tech. Unless the console has some crazy unique features that make it worth buying straight away then waiting a year or two is the sensible choice. Unless there's a bunch of exclusive killer apps to tempt you.

I would figure that since so many games are multi-platform now, it wouldn't be. i honestly expect there to be a lot of big big money deals done for at least timed exclusives FOR INSTANCE THIS IS NOT SPECULATION i dont think that microsoft or sony wouldnt at least stop to think about a ~$900m deal for a year of gta exclusivity. take two would still make billions off of it even if it is on one platform for a year. gtav has been a top ten seller for nearly a decade

taking solace in the fact that even if they do announce a bloodborne pc port today there's no way sony would shoot themselves in the foot by releasing it ahead of the ps5 version so even at the earliest i wouldn't be getting it before the end of november

Of the things that I think are "realistic," the announcements I'm hoping for the most are Horizon 2 and a Bloodborne remaster/PC port. There are other things I'd be really excited about, like a Final Fantasy XVI announcement or something, but I sorta doubt that's realistic.

I remember when Endgame released, and multiple long time veteran directors were jealous that the film made more money in a month than they made in their entire life time and so they tried to discredit the films legitimacy as a work of art.

At least the gaming industry hasn't gone full throttle with CGI recreations of deceased actors showing up. Which is what I would say, but there's always the chance Blasto 2 could be revealed at any time.
