Its more a character based comedy. My two favorites are the party 'leader', Laios, who's an eternal dumbass who's super curious about monster ecology.  And Marcielle who's having a hard time dealing with the difference in academia and IRL.

"Home Improvement": The scene with Beavis and Butt-Head watching TV at the beginning has been cut. The line "Check it out Butt-Head paint thinner (along with its disclaimer) has been edited to "Check it out Butt-Head". The ending scene with them stuck in traffic on the lawnmower was cut. Though the paint thinner and painting the cat were added back in. It's just not as much fun without the music videos.

Why is it only the manga posters in this thread who are cripplingly unable to provide enough context for the posted pages to make sense, much less be funny? Like what the gently caress is that? Why was he falling at 10 kmph? Why is that shark weird? What happened at the end? I have no idea what any of it is and all the context we were given is that some guy was dumped into water, which you can easily infer from the first two panels. (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

I mean, that one seems pretty clear to me. He couldn't swim, but it's mostly just punching and kicking, so he figured it out. And he's fighting a shark that's a wizard, whose final trick appears to be to make himself even more of a shark.

Didn’t post the best page, makes me sad Mashle Also: if you want to know why manga readers aren’t giving as much context, there’s a couple things to keep in mind. First, is that there are a hell of a lot of western comic panels posted without context. Second, there’s a thread in ADTRW that’s just “post panels you like” that’s decently popular, maybe even more popular than this thread, that has much looser restrictions on what can be posted/needing to say what series you’re posting from. I understand getting frustrated that manga readers are coming here not fully understanding the BSS rules or culture, but we just want to share a thing we enjoy with you!
