The privacy warning label is a pretty nice thing, even if the bigger players won't care and most people will ignore it.

I like this. I actually submitted feedback when I was doing iOS dev asking for this because it seems like in order to compete in the market its a race to the bottom in terms of privacy. So why not reward devs that actually don't do that.

They'll talk about the ARM transition but there will be no new hardware announcements at this software keynote, no.

They announce hardware at wwdc pretty regularly. Just not consumer-focused things.

When I was 17, my father was so stupid, I didn't want to be seen with him in public. When I was 24, I was amazed at how much the old man had learned in just 7 years.
I feel like making extensions private makes developers even less likely to port things over, even if it's easier, but maybe I'm cynical.

That’s the future friend. Your info, data, and even apps are all the same across all your Apple devices, the only difference is that the OS shows you different layouts/options depending on your device.

The fun part is going to be how walled the gardens will be. Apple is already getting some unwanted antitrust interest around the world, imagine what’ll happen when/if macOS goes App Store only with ARM.

That's what I ended up settling on and am using right now. It's fine, but I feel like it does drain my battery faster and the menu bar always says it's "using significant energy."
