I think it's been mentioned before but COVID-19 is likely more dangerous to the coaching staff than the players due to age. So ends the Belichick* dynasty & begins the Sean McVay era, purely out of being the last coach alive. * edit: Forgot Pete Carroll is technically the oldest NFL coach.

Crazy that Brady’s gonna be throwing to Evans, Godwin, OJ Howard and Gronk. What an upgrade. I really want there to be an NFL season

I'll believe in a 2020 NFL season when I see MLB or NBA run successfully for a few weeks.

Brady had no healthy WR's last year, no tight ends and a pretty bad stable of running backs. You also have to go back to 2016 to find Brady's 30th int, so yeah. ------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, FO's been releasing articles on the best/worst QB / RB / WR games of the last decade which is a reasonably fun read: https://www.footballoutsiders.com/quick-reads/2020/quick-reads-decade-review-qb-games https://www.footballoutsiders.com/quick-reads/2020/quick-reads-decade-review-rb-games https://www.footballoutsiders.com/quick-reads/2020/quick-reads-decade-review-wr-games There's also articles for totals over the decade, but that's less interesting then being reminded of poo poo like when DeAndre Hopkins went 9/9 for 238 yards on throws from Ryan Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick of course also holding the worst game of the decade, a 20/44 Jets vs Chiefs game where he threw 6 ints

I knew that Jamaal Charles Oakland game would be in the RB list so I am very pleased that it is at the very top. I will never forget that game, Charles took 3 screen passes for 50+ yards and had almost 200 yards receiving, 5 total TDs! edit: off 16 touches! I mean, hard to argue with that. Not the Brees part because I think he's a giant piece of poo poo, but as much as you may professionally click and thrive with someone, personalities are personalities and not much to be done about it.

the Broncos ended up winning the Superbowl that year. Just like the Pats went all the way after the Alex Smith Chiefs stomped them 41-14 in Foxboro and Pats fans discussed benching Brady. Losing to pre-Mahomes KC was a pretty big locker room event for most teams, sort of a come to God moment
