I’ve been praising the counselor since it originally came out. it’s a mean ugly movie but I think it’s extremely interesting and like you said touches on all those themes you mentioned. I always saw the message of the movie to be if you want to be a player within our system you’re directly involved with the horror of it all. even if you didn’t personally do any of it. No ones hands are clean. every one is complicit.

Elysium doesn't get into sex stuff from what I remember but it was so blatant about rich people being monsters who grind everyone's lives to dust.
