I remember when my local rental place liquidated their adult section. I paid a brief visit and spent fifteen minutes laughing at porn titles ripping off blockbuster movie titles. I didn't buy anything. It was a few years before tube sites, but I had already been spoiled by porn torrent sites.

Oh and I played a LOT of Tekken 3 with my neighbours so there's the 90s thread connection even though this was like 2013

I loved these but it felt like they were REALLY short-lived. More likely I just discovered them late.

The Bring PB Crisps Back site says they were around from ‘92-‘95, so it was pretty short lived.

That said I do prefer the Winco cheese balls because they're the same weight as the Winco cheese curls but 50 cents cheaper. And altogether like 2$ cheaper than name brands.

That show looked totally unappealing to me in previews, but I loathed it on the merit of Jake Busey alone. Ugh.

I saw people slamming them in some instagram ad for them in the comments about them tasting awful compared to the old days.. I haven't had them since the 90s either so I can't say.. all I could find were the planters cheeto things and mine were stale and weird tasting so hopefully that's not an indication

Both Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus are available on Steam for dirt-cheap as part of the current Steam sale, and quite fun to play still. They also have demo versions. I loved both as a kid, and still do .

Because retrogamers are insane almost all of these are actually ripped to the internet. So in a world where i can just download and play the full game i could always relive my childhood of Tomba ending after you find all the dwarves

A direct to video or TV series from the 90s. My dad taped the first 5 episodes off HBO sometime before 3rd grade but never did get part 6. I was bored over the weekend and found all 6 on one of those free streaming channels Roku can get. Man did these age poorly. It's like a Dr Who in a way, there's time traveling and space wizard science and cheesy effects. But drat it after 20+ years I'll finally get to see how the thing ends.

If we're talking about bad TV from the 90s, let's talk about EARTH 2 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth_2_(TV_series) First of all, Clancy Brown and Tim Curry made this the best thing ever to 11 year old me. The Kurgan and Pennywise? Sign me the gently caress up. Secondly, fantastic opening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHAwFtJrp3c Dig that Star Trek wanna be orchestral music. There was so much weird cheesiness. The Terrians are some sort of telepathic superspecies that can psychically tunnel through the planet, the little dudes are kleptos, and Tim Curry's BWAH! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--2_Jk2_byo

If you like Clancy Brown, check out Pet Sematary 2. He's the only person who seems to realize the movie he's in is terrible, so he just goes all out.
