Snyder trademarked Washington Warriors shortly after buying the team. IIRC the speculation was that it was for a new AFL team or that he was blocking a future XFL team (lol) from being named too similarly, but maybe it was a contingency plan for a rename. He let it expire a few years ago, so it doesn’t matter.
