I appreciate Saitama and Zombieman both being well, good role models and friends/acquaintances to Child Emperor. They both to an extent listen to his fears and reassure him.

One of things that I love about the Hero Association assault on the MA, is how it lures you into a false sense of security. For quite a while the heroes are absolutely cleaning up: all the stuff on the surface, Flashy Flash vs the two ninjas, Child Emperor vs Pheonix Man, Tatsumaki vs Gyoro Gyoro, and then Saitama vs Rover and Orochi (with lots of Demon-levels ground to dust in between). It's only around the Atomic Samurai vs Black Sperm fight that things start to take a turn for the worst. So, probably the only thing I don't like about the redraws is that Saitama sort of takes the win from Child Emperor (or at least takes away some of the life and death stakes). I think the redraws should have come out after the arc as a whole was done. It's frustrating to be anticipating progress in the story but instead getting minor tweaks to earlier stuff.

Compare Phoenixman to Boros for example(Yes Boros was only a very strong dragon, he wasn't God class).

Admittedly it's not clear to me whether monsters having a Disaster Level is always meant to just be an Association classification or information given to the readers (often you see panels appear about a monster's disaster level before the association gets to learn about them?) but if it's the first, then it makes sense to me that they might not always necessarily categorize things correctly based on misconceptions. Saitama is only a B-class hero after all.

Yeah, the idea that Boros was not a God class is kinda silly to me. Even ignoring everything else he has going for him, his last attack would destroy all life on Earth (if we take him at his word and at that point, there is no reason for him to lie), how exactly does that not count as a "threat of human extinction"?

At the end of the day, Boros is just evil Sonic the Hedgehog. He's not that strong in the grand scheme of things. All aliens on those other planets were just weak.

Gyoro Gyoro seems like a bad example to me because he (well, she, but I think the Gyoro Gyoro disguise was meant to be male) faced off against Tatsumaki, who is so absurdly beyond any of the heroes besides Saitama that her having an easy time of things isn't really indicative of anything.

The kid's real opponent is the evil water, Phoenix man was just supposed to demonstrate how strong he is. But now it's him going all out to stop a joke monster, then getting stomped again by the water monster. But whatever, I think I'm just mostly upset at the pacing

Just got caught up with One's webcomic. I'm waiting for what the next "big bad" is going to be after Garou, but the series seems to be following Season 1's formula in that it is serialized but no real over arching enemies.
