I’m in Nebraska now but I’ve never heard of this (admittedly I’m not from here, haven’t been here long, and try to leave as often as possible). Omaha is a very Catholic area and there have been abuse issues with priests as recently as a couple of years ago where they had to ship him off somewhere else. There is a lot of lip service paid to religion in all aspects of society so the “satanic” part is strange and sounds like BS, maybe they had to relate something as horrific as child sexual abuse from a religious perspective of everything bad is satanic?

It was so much of a hoax that it was used as an example of how people latch onto baseless hoaxes for conspiracy theories." They have a bad habit of going in with a slant with some of the more out-there theories that, nonetheless, have at the very least enough of a doubt with verifiable sources and connections to not to be dismissed outright. Also, a summary of what started the franklin scandal for anyone curious: An officer in nebraska reported to have seen two well-dressed men in suits looking over a group of children playing in a park. Suspicions arose as the officer went to check the situation out, and the children were all found to be malnourished and insect-bitten. The men and children were questioned, and it came up the children were to be taken to a school for "smart kids". An investigation of the two men's van revealed maps and assorted documents in the front, and filthy mattresses in the back, along with a foul smell. The men were taken in due to the extremely suspicious conditions. Some phonecalls by the men and by the chief of police later, the men were released without further questioning. im permabanned gbs poster hillarystomper69. i first started posting in gbs and reading about qanon conspiracies three years ago. by 2019 i got really obsessed with the concept of “irony” and tried to channel it constantly, until my thought process got really bizarre and i would repeat things like “obama balls” and “i love making GBS threads inside crooked hillary's rear end in a top hat” in my head for hours, and i would get really paranoid, start seeing hallucinations like acts of pizza shop pedophilia in the corners of my eyes etc, basically prodromal schizophrenia. im now on antipsychotics. i always wondered what the kind of “ironic” style of gbs humor was all about; i think it’s the unconscious leaking in to the conscious, what jungian theory considered to be the cause of schizophrenic and schizotypal syptoms. i would advise all people who “get” gbs to be careful because that likely means you have a predisposition to a mental illness. peace.
