Even if the satoshi thing is nonsense, I think you don't have to squint very much to see that having the ear of a bunch of influential academics (MIT Media Lab, Harvard, I'm sure others) and large swaths of public discourse at places like reddit (u/maxwellhill, probably) is a great place to be if you want to invest heavily in a bunk commodity (bitcoin) whose value is easily swayed by public opinion and has little to no regulation attached. Not to mention bitcoin is directly applicable to their human trafficking and arms dealing efforts. EDIT: Now I think about it, early Bitcoinners I talked to sounded a lot like Epstein supposedly did, a lot of superficial conversation about a myriad of monetary policy and privacy issues without any deep thought or ability to debate attached.

I had never watched the clip, just seen the gif High school play caliber acting "Hillary Rodham Clinton worked here!" I figure this is not reflective of most of the show since they were probably forced to do this by some sleazy combination of social pressure and back door shenanigans
