The dragon coaster was p dope tbh. The tiny pool containing a bunch of mammals that normally range hundreds if not thousands of kms, not so much. The deer were well fed. They also ate anything that vaguely resembled food, including the beads off my sisters clothes (80s fashion was uhhhh), so she punched one right in the face. She was idk 7? Deer was bigger than she was. Suprised she didn't get a hoof to the top of the head for that one.

Marineland sucked three decades ago when I had to take 'summer camp' kid groups through it (the deer were really good at hooking kids in the eye with their antlers, can't really blame them) and I'm not going back to verify it still sucks even though I live nearby I do not love it

When the 2007 writers' strike occurred I was overjoyed because it meant Canada was going to HAVE to go in house and develop more canadian projects because dependency on the US led to the entire Canadian industry shutting down. Nope, everyone just waited like lambs for the US projects to come back. Unless the government actually makes an effort to fund the arts it's going to be an endless marathon of Atom Egoyan and Paul Gross films with the occasional Bruce McDonald thrown in for flavour. Waydowntown will be banned because it will drive those in Calgary Lockdown attempt #3 insane being reminded of how trapped they are.
