I'd wager the archery minigame died because they needed the real estate for Mikau and the village and couldn't, or didn't want to, build the beach area out further.

With how buddy -buddy Microsoft is with other consoles these days I hold out hope we'll see RARE Collection on Switch/PS4/PC one day. So I can play Blast Corps again legally

they tried turning it into another game to get around alot of the legal issues at one point, i saw shots of it once, or maybe it was a fever dream? it was redone into a perfect dark game where you play as joanna darks father. the whole plot/level layouts/weapons/enemy placements/most everything were the same as goldeneye, just instead of bond stuff it was daddy dark doing stuff and PD characters. like the dam and facility were the same, just now it was a datadyne facility with datadyne soilders and scientists or something but they ended up scrapping it. edit: tried googling for this but cant find poo poo now, i swear i saw it/read about it somewhere years ago, anyone else?
