Terrible car stuff: I just learned Honda is getting rid of the Fit, civic coupe (including the si, which I currently have) and manual accord. As a coupe and manual transmission enthusiast, basically all the Honda’s I’d be interested in. More SUCs (supposed to be SUVs, but I’m leaving it), trucks and crossovers. Wonderful.

Unfortunately a LOT of car makers are moving in this direction, including domestic US ones like Chrysler/Ford/GM. I think I'd heard something about demand going down for coupes/sedans so they were shifting focus toward SUV variants while only keeping the high-end sports cars like Challenger, Mustang, Corvette, etc. & eventually phasing out small/mid-size cars altogether.

The Yaris is dead too, because no one was buying it. Which is a car no one ever really cared about, though the 2008 hatchback I had was a perfectly fine commuter car. I also drove it across the country a few times and it was okay for that too!
